The JFR Lunatic line, an extension of the original JFR line, was introduced by Aganorsa Leaf in 2014. Unlike its predecessor, which featured cigars with extreme ring gauges up to 80, the Lunatic line offers a more moderate approach to smoking with a ring gauge of 52 in the Short Robusto size.

Produced at the Aganorsa Leaf factory (formerly known as the TABSA factory) in Estelí, Nicaragua, the JFR Lunatic cigars boast a blend composed entirely of tobacco from Aganorsa Leaf, a prominent agricultural conglomerate with extensive tobacco plantations across Nicaragua. The company is owned by Eduardo Fernández.

The Lunatic cigars feature an Ecuador Habano wrapper and offer a flavor profile characterized by nutty notes, specifically cashew and walnut, complemented by a core of coffee bean flavors.
